Rule actions

Rule actions allow you to specify what JIRA data you want to insert into your report and where. You can use rule actions to:

• Replace a place holder in your Microsoft Word report template file with JIRA data.

• Specify the JIRA data to use in a chart.

• Specify the JIRA data to use in a table

• Performing calculations and insert the result into your report.

• Stop report generation and display an error to the user of your report.

You can access the rule actions by clicking the Edit link next to the rule you want to edit from the Edit Template page.

Click the Edit link next to the rule to view and/or make edits to the conditions or actions of that rule.
